Dr. Jessica Duis, M.D.
Dr. Jessica Duis is a geneticist and special care physician with an emphasis on the management and long-term care of individuals with complex rare disorders. She did her medical training at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine in Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Her background and expertise are in building Centers of Excellence to provide comprehensive care, translational research and educational opportunities.
She currently works for BioMarin Pharmaceuticals in Early Clinical Development. She also participates in many working groups to develop clinical outcome measures successful in detecting clinically meaningful change for individuals with neurogenetic conditions. She has a part time clinical practice at SequenceMD, where she offers diagnostic and clinical management expertise to patients.
She has served on the Scientific and Medical Advisory Board at the Schinzel-Giedion Syndrome Foundation since 2020.
